Pitts Radiology, founded in 1923, by Dr. Thomas Pitts in Columbia, SC was one of the first radiology practices in the Southeastern United States. Since its inception, the organization has grown steadily to over 28 radiologists. The group provides the highest quality radiological services at multiple hospitals, as well as outpatient sites, making Pitts the largest radiology practice in the Midlands.
All of our radiologists are board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and many are fellowship trained to offer subspecialty care in the areas of Interventional Radiology, Musculoskeletal Imaging, Body Imaging, Neuroradiology, Breast Imaging, Pediatric Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, and Endovascular Neuroradiology.
We use the latest state-of-the-art tools for diagnostic procedures and minimally invasive treatments. We are committed to providing accurate, compassionate and timely diagnostic radiology services to all of our patients, including 24-hour coverage of our hospital practice sites.
